First off the window frame radius at the rear did not match and the frame was a bit too high on the door panel. I removed a good frame from a rusted door and replaced it, then checked the vent wing fit and frame to cab fit at the drip rail and A pillar. Next the hinge area was not the right dimension from the front panel edge, I shimmed between the hinges and door as I had the hinges moved all the way to the rear. After I had the door fitting just OK the the rear door gap was too wide, I welded 1/8" steel rod to the rear edge to get this right even after shimming the door rearward. lastly when I did final assembly I found that the area where the window regulator attached wasn't formed right and the regulator shaft stuck too far through the trim panel, I shimmed the regulator deeper in the the door. I did get the door to fit well enough to suit me but I would never do it again. The reason I put the date I bought the door was maybe they have changed the dies since then, I hope they have but I would only use an original if I did it again.
