Forget getting a code reader. Get a scan tool! You need to see what your sensors are doing as your engine is running. If you think you're running out of fuel delivery, check your fuel lines. If the engine has a returnless system, it could be that the filter/regulator is hooked up wrong.

Its the fuel pressure. For some reason the fuel pump is intermittently running. When i first start it, it never cycles like Gm originally had them. So if i force it to run, I have about 60 psi. The truck starts right away and apparently it doesn’t run after that the fuel pressure continues to fall. Thus it won’t idle as it has NO fuel.

Really scratching my head now.
