Truck looks good. You have Spoke Wheels also known as Dayton's. There is a good percentage out there that prefer Dayton's, myself included.
I believe there are some conversion kits out there, but I also believe they are pretty expensive. I would keep the Dayton's. They will look good repainted. Keep us posted on your project.

They make single piece 22.5" dayton wheels that will bolt to your hub. I believe Wheelsnow makes them.
Makes me want to tear into my firetruck but the babies and farm come first.

Re: 1972 c60 Firetruck to wedge bed project begins
Oh wow, heck everyone has told me I can't get tires / tube's anymore for these wheels locally. , they are 20s.
I definitely like the look. But assumed I was out of luck when came to tires / tunes. Of course haven't had it long to do alot of research just yet. (That's where you guys that has had them for years come in ) lol . I'll definitely look into the place with 22s etc. On ordering as well if better option. Options. Thank you guys so so much. That fire truck 🚒 looks awesome I'm keeping this bed once off putting in barn on blocks out of weather if anyone needs one down the road doubt ilk ever use it again. |

Although not easy to find any more, I saw some 10-20's available online for as cheap as $349 each for new radials. But, I would talk to your local commercial tire dealer to see what they can order for you for comparison. Tubes should also be available at the dealer, but if necessary you can get them at Amazon.

You can buy 1100 22.5 rims that will work on your wheels. Tires are much cheaper and you can go with tubeless. Check out my truck and you can see what they look like.

Although he would be accomplishing the Tire issue, he would be still keeping his Spokes. As long as he don't mind them. Not sure what he really wants to accomplish. Myself, I like what you did. Keep the Spokes with the better Rims and Tires.
