When my son built his 70 he had the serpentine system and we ended up with a 95-97 don't really remember the exact year like in Grumpy's post #6

On those serpentine systems they changed the angle of the dangle on the water pump suction, if I remember correctly we had to trim a little bit and we then stuck the radiator end into a coffee can of hot water to soften the rubber to stretch/slip it over the the radiator nipple.
