Re: 72 getting rid of the 90's mistake.

Haven't needed to work on the truck during the summer so not a lot to update, just been hitting the cruise ins and car shows. Having a blast even without A/C.

I did but some eye bolts in the bed replacing the four button head bolts in each corner, cut to have a place for tie downs if I need it.
Also found a like new 1973 Coleman cooler that I can use at shows since its so hot here in NC.
Also decided I have all winter to worry about getting a vintage air/heat installed so I put it on hold and ordered a new cowl hood instead. Also have some billet hood hinges and latch assembly ordered.
One of the biggest eye sores for at the shows is the inside of my hood is rusty and looks horrible, so I'll paint the new hood on both sides.

I did also swap out the flat topped center bolt valve covers for some angled covers, still black with red script but angled. I removed the wire loom plate that covered most of the valve cover, looked too tacky for me.
