K&N Air filters
Second time in 3 years my K&N air filter fell apart. Thet rubber ring that fastens to the round metal tube rotted/torn away. Any one have a better filter I can buy.
Part number HPR9891. Looks like the weight of the filter tore the rubber. Maybe I need to build a strap to support the filter. Thoughts. |

The number you gave is a Spectre filter, not a K&N. Are you sure K&N makes the filter for Spectre? I have had dozens of K&N filters over the years and never had one fall apart.
