Re: BBB Industries Quality???
It seems quality rebuilds are hampered by the cheap quality parts coming in from other countries.. I'm not really interested in paying a couple hundred dollars for a new alternator, but it's looking more and more like that's the route to take...

Re: BBB Industries Quality???
I don't have any experience with BBB Industries but I can tell you I had a lot of issues with O'reillies new and rebuilt alternators and external voltage regulators.
I recently decided to upgrade to the newer internally regulated alternator and bought it through Summit Racing. Alternator that I received is ACdelco, made in China but so far haven't had any more issues. Also upgraded the wiring harness and external voltage regulator to internal voltage regulator. I think it was around $90 for both.

Re: BBB Industries Quality???
Sorry for my slow reply.
The alternator is a reman and I believe puts out 65 amps. I'm not using anything like electrical fans or stereo amps, so I didn't order an alternator with higher amperage output. I've had the alternator installed and running in my daily driver for about 5 months now and I haven't had anymore issues with failing voltage regulators, battery going bad, or cooking my electrical system. Time will tell how this alternator works out.
