Re: Cruise Control
Is your throttle drive-by-wire or a conventional cable?
If it is DBW, it is a 4 wire connection to your TAC module. You'll need to supply it with a brake signal in one of those four wires. The other three go to switches for enable, resume and accelerate IIRC. Dakota Digital will sell you a TAC module and switch for about $500 for the DBW. I bought mine at a junkyard for a few bucks. There's several different GM TAC modules so you'll need to research which one is compatible with your PCM Make sure you snag the TAC module harness with the box if you go the junkyard route. If it is a cable throttle body, you'll need a VSS from your transmission to either the PCM or the firewall throttle servo, I don't remember which. You'll need the same wiring for enable, resume and accelerate. Your throttle body has places for two cables already, Lokar makes a nice cable holder for the ls intake with provisions for two cables - cruise and throttle Youtube is your friend and there's a few videos and schematics how to set them up.
