More EV News

Apparently Ford has decided it would rather make money than EVs:

Re: More EV News

None of them can stand to lose $10 Billion in 2 years so stepping back from full on ev production only makes sense. Lofty goals.

.

No doubt. My guess is that it isn't going to make sense for a very, very long time to come.

From Article:

Ford, which lost nearly $4.7 billion on its EV business in 2023 and has projected it will lose up to $5.5 billion this year, said in February the next generation of EVs would be launched "only when they can be profitable."

Re: More EV News

Add the millions of dollars in recall repairs, and the forecast looks a bit more gloomy

Re: More EV News

Also presently in the news Chrysler may be cancelled now by Delantis ? as it has once again paid high fines for it's low epa mileage averages and have chopped V8 engines. I'm sure State Police agencies everywhere will appreciate that.
