AVOID at all cost the aftermarket windshield trim. I received the trim next day drop shipped from dynacorn. To the untrained eye, I was impressed and thought I got lucky. That was until I went to mount into the Presision seal. If you must go with aftermarket trim be prepaired for the fight of your life and you will need a helper just to get the trim to seat. I did not have a helper. Spent 4 hours and could not get the upper ssection to fully seat. The arc was just off enough to cause rotation and seal to roll out of position before I could get the opposite end to fully seat. The following day I tried again and gave up after a hour. Pulled out the original part and hand polished for about 30 minutes. Looks 90%. It mounted into the seal in about 5 minutes work. The side/lower Dynacorn piece was difficult but did seat. It did not seat as easy as original. I ended up using just the one side dynacorn part for the one I carelessly damaged. The other side and upper pieces are original. The look is good. The rear aftermarket was difficult but did seat much better providing good result. Bottom line, the rear is easily replaced with aftermarket. The front, avoid aftermarket at all cost.
Great information.. sorry you struggled so much
