Re: 1970 C10 ChassisFab Build Thread

Got the rear tubs in place. I need to trim a little from the inside since they are rubbing the outer bedside skin. After this, I noticed the bedside rails at the top of the sides are bowed out on both sides.

Has anyone had to straighten this area? I'm thinking a long 2x4 and big hammer whacking towards the top of the rail will straighten it a bit.

I pieced together a DIY kit on this to save some money.

It is a Vintage Air Gen II evaporator: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ustomerReviews

Hose kit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/20223073898...Bk9SR5CZirfXZA

Universal condenser: https://www.ebay.com/itm/305517518009
It's a little flimsy so I will be adding another universal bracket to attach to the core support.

Sanden compressor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1
