Ebay search

Can someone explain this? Am I using a setting wrong or is the search function seriously jacked.

I don’t really like to have to search through dozens of pages of irrelevant items when there are only a small handful of parts that actually meet my search terms.

Also… I wish they had a “refurbished” filter for auto parts. If you want OEM you have to search through thousands of refurbished parts.

Re: Ebay search

Same issue here - search results now return tons of totally unrelated garbage

Re: Ebay search

If you can get online and find the GM part #, then type i in like this
15464645 GM
That works best for me.

Re: Ebay search

Part of it may be legal protections against lawsuits. NOS IS pre-owned unless found in a dealership or similar cleaning out old inventory. Someone in the past probably sued over a NOS item listed as NEW that was also Pre-Owned. Like something bought but never opened. Technically, pre-owned. The best kind of technically as far as lawyers are concerned.

I often get better results from using outside search engines, think DuckDuckGo, Google, or Bing. Limit your results to ebay by starting with site:www.ebay.com
example site:www.ebay.com C10 part description
-site:url will exclude results from that url.
