At first I was thinking what the heck can you do with $1.35 even back then. I looked at some old menus thinking that $1.35 would be similar to the adjusted for inflation $11.00, but it’s not even close. You got more for the $1.35 and not just at McDonalds. Course todays minimum wage is closer to $20.00, but in the end it looks like overall cost of goods has really outpaced inflation.
