Attached is a picture of the magneto and the shaft that has a tach generator that I don't need with electronic gauges. But in total the shaft when assembled on the magneto stands tall. He is trying to fabricate a shaft from an old distributor and a sleeve to hold the mag. Once he has that figured out, then the engine can be started.
