Update - I guess I found the issue, it's been about 3.5 months & still running with no problems (knock on wood).
Cleaned both ground location on block, at front on passenger side & on rear of drivers side - they were both pretty funky. Also cut some length off & put new ring terminal on ground wire from ign coil that was connected at front passenger block location - it was green corroded a few inches up the wire... that was probably the specific issue.
