Anyone know where I can buy a rear wire harness pigtail?

I need a pigtail that fits into the engine side of the firewall for the rear wiring harness.. Anyone know where I can buy one?

no luck on a google search or looking through the common classic parts places

thanks in advance

If you don't want to just buy the whole front-to-back harness section new, I think your best bet may be to post a want-to-buy ad in the parts section asking for somebody to cut that off of their old harness from before they re-wired the whole truck. Or somebody may have that harness section they can sell you used. I have done that with success a couple of times for different plugs on the truck. It looks like the whole front-to-rear connecting harness new runs about $40 to $140 at various vendors ( GMC Pauls recommended https://gmcpauls.com/wireharness_4.htm). You need to be a paying member to post ads or ask to buy parts or sell parts here on the forum. https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/payments.php

Retail priced but first class and totally factory correct would be M&H Elecrtic. They use the same connecters, wire gauges and color codes as Factory. Also each harness is signed by the technician who built it.

Must be a custom bed or something? You are asking for a pigtail which means you will splice. I would be more inclined to find a used one and harvest the connector. Then you can make your own harness with no splices. The terminals are not hard to come by from various sources like Mouser, Ebay-even Amazon.

I looked a bit deeper. I believe I was wrong. That is a molded connector not one with removable pins. I'm still not a fan of splices-especially on exterior wires. I would pony up for a new one. M&H has them different lengths for the various wheelbases. 'Lectric Limited probably does too in addition to the truck suppliers.
