Re: Most Annoying Search...Hydrobooster

Good thing I decided to read the directions before hoping onto Summit and ordering a different length rod. The hydroboost that I picked up is a short throw and Wilwood includes an insert to make up the difference at the master cylinder. The rod on the this unit was also 3/8" in diameter at the brake pedal. Since the original is 1/2". Not much room for error, but with the original roof in the lathe we bored it out to fo fit the rod on the back of the hydroboost. The firewall also needed to opened up about an extra quarter inch to directly for the hydroboost directly...that firewall isn't primer either. Now I just have to pull everything apart for paint the hydrobooster, bracket, and all the interior brackets.

After that's all done it's onto the steering column and wiring.
