Re: The Doc & Kim 69 build
I purchased a Flowmaster stainless exhaust kit back in early 2019 ( post 208 ) I half installed it and needed to do some custom work to hook the shorty headers to it all ...short story can't find a shop with a mandrill bender to bend so my welder friend came by today and we put a plan together to start to fab from the headers to the H pipe and realized the trans crossmember will interfere luckily I found this on Speedway will be my third Trans CM for this build but we can clear the new Trans CM and head back through the trailing arm CM ....stay tuned

Re: The Doc & Kim 69 build
I just bought and installed this Speedway xmember. It has tons of adjustability built into it. The only down side I can see so far is the speedo cable connection on the tail of the transmission might not clear the edge of the xmember. I haven't installed the cable yet in mine, but it's really close.

got the CM mocked up today I had a old speedo cable and every thing looks fine lined up with cable on the 700r4. Im going to try and get all cables E brake etc I had routed and hooked up as much as I can before I put the cab back on...also had the drive shaft shortened and balanced a few inches seeing I set the motor back with the newer mounts I have a little less than two of my fat fingers between the distributor and the fire wall instead four and my thumb
