Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )

Finally got her back on all 4's and rolling again, after a few months of completely rebuilding both front & rear diffs and adding disc brakes to the rear.

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )

Gary glad to see you have gotten back on this, it is a great looking truck. And I too suffer from lower back pain, so far I can get some relief from pills, but dr. said I should try injection or fusing nerves, not sure if I want to do either of them, I just do what I can and move on

Great progress, happy for you to do what ever you can, take care my friend and keep posting

What’s left to do?

Re: Project; Divorce Therapy ( 72 SWB 4x4 )

Hey Jim,

Haven't done anything on the truck for a couple weeks. It still needs more stuff installed under the dash and all fluids put in, exhaust, then I should be about ready to try starting it.

About 6 weeks ago I had a lumbar epidural shot. They inject steroids into your spinal Columb in the area of your pain. I felt pretty good for about 3 weeks then I was bent over changing marker lights in the front of my car and that was it, back to how I was before the shot. Been taking 800mg of Ibuprofen every morning to get through the day. I go back to see the Dr. at the end of the month and see what he says. I may need to get 2 vertebrae's fused in my lower back.

I’m on the fence with shots, right now I’ll live with pills
I feel your pain
