That truck's not too bad underneath but the amount of filler on a potentially rusty cab would make it tough to pull the trigger. It's a good starting point for an eastern truck.

What looks like a pretty fair but stripped 49 Cab in Kennewick wa. for 200. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...8-0b562f83706e
If I wasn't short on truck kitty money at the moment I'd be going after that one myself and stick the cab on my old frame.

This looks like a very solid project from an estate. I think it is worth the $6k if cab and panels are as solid as they look. fully rebuilt stock frame and 235.

That's 8173.95 in 7-10-24 Canadian money. I have my wonderments about someone who "restores" an AD truck and paints the engine orange/red though. That would have to be corrected in my book and is a price deduction.
Still if one wants an "original" or almost original truck done their way that might be a good start as the sheet metal looks workable and if there is full documentation on the engine's rebuild that makes the 6K more interesting. There is value in what you don't have to go out and buy and what you don't have to spend a lot of hours getting in shape for paint. A few but not hundreds that one might have to spend.

54 GMC in a Basket in Seattle. The cab looks pretty nice as does the frame.

Idaho is getting as bad as Southern California. Asking 12 K for a 3K at most truck.
Sounds like his wife told him to get rid of it and he has an "it won't sell for that because I don't want to sell it" price on it.

58 Cameo in a basket with title but a bit spendy for me.
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...type=top_picks Olympia WA. One could buy the truck and wheel over to Classic Heartbeat and see Wes and pick up the pieces they needed for it all in one shot.
