Re: cup holder
i got my cup holder conversion kit but have not had an opportunity to install it due to a death in the family and travel. Once I get to a point I have time to install mine I will and take photos of it. It looks as if I will have to remove the under dash A/C to do this.

Re: cup holder
Pretty neat and stealthy, I use the style like someone else posted from LS fab. Easy to mount and nothing is blocking my radio if I need to tur it up or down like I always do.

Re: cup holder
I finally put mine in and boy it was a pain in the A** no fault of LNP or his son. The problem i had was the ashtray housing was tac welded on my 68 c10. The product his son makes was 100% I would recommend using it. PS dont mined my ugly carpet for now.

Re: cup holder
The screws you take out are the ones that holds the ash tray bracket in. Some 68 models have spot welds like what TA1968 said he had. Then those need to be removed and when you put it back use screws and nuts or j nuts.

into. I think they are #8 screws. They are regular sheetmetal screws nothing fancy so if you dont have them you can pik them up at any hardware or home improvement store. Auto part stores may have them with the clips if you dont have those. I attached a photo showing the bracket with the screws and clips in place.

Re: cup holder
Way late to the party here, but I found out the magnetic tool box cup holders at harbor freight work great! I put my 32oz yeti in mine, magnetically stuck to the door and i can shut the door with a full yeti and it doesn't come loose. they're about $11 ea.

Re: cup holder
Just an update my son is moving his store form Etsy to Ebay so the store is temorarily down if anyone wants to talk with him about a cup holder you can pm me and I will give you his email address. I would post it here but sure if its against the rules.

Re: cup holder
This is slick, but I like the idea of mounting one on the front edge of my seat or in a floor console so I'm not blocking the radio and heater controls with my drink in the holder.
