Re: cup holder

i got my cup holder conversion kit but have not had an opportunity to install it due to a death in the family and travel. Once I get to a point I have time to install mine I will and take photos of it. It looks as if I will have to remove the under dash A/C to do this.

Re: cup holder

Pretty neat and stealthy, I use the style like someone else posted from LS fab. Easy to mount and nothing is blocking my radio if I need to tur it up or down like I always do.

Re: cup holder

I finally put mine in and boy it was a pain in the A** no fault of LNP or his son. The problem i had was the ashtray housing was tac welded on my 68 c10. The product his son makes was 100% I would recommend using it. PS dont mined my ugly carpet for now.

The screws you take out are the ones that holds the ash tray bracket in. Some 68 models have spot welds like what TA1968 said he had. Then those need to be removed and when you put it back use screws and nuts or j nuts.

Was bracket and all out of the truck? There should be 4 J nus some call them U clips or spring clip nuts in the ash tray bracket over holes where the screws go
into. I think they are #8 screws. They are regular sheetmetal screws nothing fancy so if you dont have them you can pik them up at any hardware or home improvement store. Auto part stores may have them with the clips if you dont have those. I attached a photo showing the bracket with the screws and clips in place.
