Brake line slack holder.
Hey fellas, hoping this helps out some other fellas who run air bags and have the same issue of the long brake lines almost getting caught between the upper control arm and the cross member. I used 4 M8 rivnuts, two 3/8 rubber clamps along with M8x16 bolts and some locktite for added security. These springs had the perfect ID for the M8 rivnut.
uxcell 3D Printer Die Spring, 20mm OD 150mm Long 2pcs Spiral Stamping Light Load Compression Mould Die Springs for 3D Printer Electric Part, Yellow https://a.co/d/4bx6mKz Rivnuts on the inside of both ends of the spring. then drill a hole just big enough in the upper control arm to fit a M8 bolt through. rest is self evident. works really well. |
