I did two layers of killmat from the floor to just below the rear window along with some random patches under the dash I could reach while I had the cab stripped apart for rust repair.

I then put these on.

and an underhood blanket.

and topped it off with acc essex with mass backing carpet and the acc molded wall carpet (back of the cab).

The install was quite a bit more time consuming that I thought it was going to be. A good pair of electricians wire cutters is the best thing to use to cut the holes in the carpet after poking through the bolt holes with an ice pick and making the x with a sharp knife. My scissors didnt cut it.

Compared to the stripped interior (damn mice!) with the hole in the floor its a night and day difference sound and heat wise. Almost luxurious.
