Re: The Chevy Express van.
Because I like the van so much, I found a set of GMC forged aluminum wheels with great tires on Marketplace and spruced it up!

Greg58 - Cool van and nice shop! You got a great deal and fixed up the van nice. Bill - The 70s/80s/90s Chevys are cramped in the footwells, but it's part of their charm ; ) We had a couple when I was HS & later and I got used to it, liked driving them. Put on the cruise control and kinda brace my knee up on the dog house. |

My youngest son likes to tease me about my creeper van, I told him it's my work van, and he said "you don't work"! So every time I'm hauling something or have it loaded with tools, I snap a pic and send it to him! Sometimes I think being retired is plenty of work! Greg

Re: The Chevy Express van.
I'm on my third Express van. The first one was an 04 with a 6.0.
Put about 305,000 on it before I found a 60,000 mile motor at a local junkyard and put that in. Ran it for another 60,000. Great workhorses. My 2022 has the 6.6 in it. The thing is a beast. |

I can't get excited to buy something newer then 1975 even though it would make parts of my life better. |

Re: The Chevy Express van.
Well if you get one post a picture. An old van is kind of like an old pickup, when you are tired of it you can most likely sell it for what you have in it!
