Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
He even let me shoot some of it, but when it came to the final coats I let him do it, a failure at this point due to inexperience would have been just horrible. The pics dont do it justice; you have to see it in person.
We decided on a tri-coat. Adding some gold flake was just up my alley for that retro feel, but also a direct show of intent - Im not painting the rest, when you see the roof, you kind of understand that.

And then on the way to Tennessee! Landed at the hotel around 1:30-2:00 AM, unloaded and immediately began polishing the paint division trim. Called it a night around 3, and ended up at Waffle House around 6:30AM. Dont ever say Im not a hotrodder! that may very well be the only time Ive been to Waffle House when the sun was up.

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
A few more pics of the roof in the sun. Then headed home on Sunday, got home around 1AM on Monday and boy was I beat. What a great weekend though, not often you can say you were in the presence of giants, but rarely can you say you had your vehicle on the same grounds or show as them. What an experience. I am signing up for next year now!

Re: My 1967 Build (Finally)
Appreciate it! Its been a ton of fun enjoying the truck. Even the issues. Today the radiator got a small pinhole developed in it. I need to send it in to Cold Case to get warrantied. But its small enough I can drive around town till I get the new one here. Oh well!
