Fun and Storm

I just got back from my annual pilgrimage to my homeland, Pittsburgh, PA. This year was unique as I got to see a bunch of people I haven't seen since HS graduation. Had our 50 year reunion, first one I was able to attend. It was odd at first as there was a bunch of really old folks that said they went to schoool with me, but I am not that old

Got back yesterday in time to get ready for Francine. On the 2 day drive down folks looked at me strange. They thought it was odd the I was driving to the storm instead of away. It should be OK here, but hope all my/our LOuisanna folks don't get to beat up from it.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God!

Re: Fun and Storm

We spent a week down in Lake Charles 2 weeks ago. Sure glad it wasn't this week. Batten down the hatches my friend.

Re: Fun and Storm

My wife is in Hattiesburg this week on a business trip.

They are all hunkered down for a "weather day" (up here we call 'em "snow days").
