Very cool

I’m always fascinated to know what city you found it in and how far did you travel to get it.

Re: Faded Glory (1971 med bronze patina refresh)

Dropped the wheels off where the truck is stored at my friends shop.

His son is cleaning up this c20 (converted to k20).

What do you think of the 90’s seat??

Re: Faded Glory (1971 med bronze patina refresh)

Got most of the brake work done today. Rear left complete except I think I cracked the hard line near the cylinder fitting. Ugh…

The rear passenger side I stripped the hex head on both wheel cylinder bolts. More ugh… It’s all ready to bolt everything up once I figure out a way to remove the cylinder.

The front calipers, pads, hoses went smoothly. I noticed the calipers are GM stamped. These came from rockauto. There was no fluid up front, I think the rats had their way with the hoses… haha

Re: Faded Glory (1971 med bronze patina refresh)

weld a nut to the back of each bolt and you should be able to get them out. a little heat will help to break the rust.

I love that idea. I don’t think I can get my welder to this location. I’ll probably drill or grind them off.

My favorite color.
I would clean and re-caulk the drip-rails. I consider it a must-do especially if it sits outside.
