Re: 1956 3100 build
Looks good. I like the stainless, a little more durable than polished alum I think.
I think Ogre has used the protection film on the actual step part but then he is 9ft tall so maybe he doesnt use the step lol. Personally I would use it and be kinda afraid of scratching it all up with the sand and gravel etc around here. It is still protecting though, so if it gets dull with some scratches you can peel it off and stick some new stuff on there if you want. |

You'd probably get more answers to your question if you posted a thread of your own. Please do that.

Re: 1956 3100 build
some more progress lately.finishing up wiring.
fuse box msd and fan controller mounted. a little more tidying up to do. gauge plugin. waiting for fuel gauge. front light harness routed and headlight buckets in along with ac condenser and trans cooler test fitted. i was really worried if mercedes fan was gonna clear but with front sheet metal on about 3/4 -1" clearance. be interesting to see how it cools with coldcase rad. |

Re: 1956 3100 build
Coming along well! I’m doing the same thing with my tailgate. How did you adhere the emblem? I haven’t thought about it yet.

Re: 1956 3100 build
That tailgate is bad ass! They did an emblem for the Cameo, so obviously GM themselves considers this a more premium option than stamped letters.
