215/70/r16

All, I have re-tooled my brakes to be all C4 front and back which allows me to have all 5 of the rims to be made the same size by the wheel smith!

I am in the market for 215/70/R16 with 2" wide white walls.

I've looked around and Discount wants 30 shipping just for me to see the tire (1) and if I don't like it it I'm out 30 bucks!

Summit has free shipping but Last I looked only had 1 tire.

Costco and Walmart selections are too limited!

Jeggs I still need to look at, but was wondering what other option ya'll might have in mind?

I looked at my C4 modified rearend today from flat out and I must say Robert (my Welder/ artist / master designer) has really done an amazing job in making
for some great articulation and future comfortable driving and handling!!

Which is why I want to get some tire's for my wheels so we can get this truck to paint and frame to powder coating!

As always thanks for all you help!

Re: 215/70/r16

You are looking for a tire that only comes from a specialty house like Coker or Diamondback.

In a 215-70-16 white wall you are pretty well limited to the Diamondback Touring that run 319 each.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: 215/70/r16

Your best bet for seeing the tires either in a vendor booth or on someone's car/truck is at the Goodguys show at Texas Motor speedway at the end of the month.
You might contact Diamondback and ask if they are going to be at the show. If they say yes, tell them what you are looking for and the trouble you are having with actually seeing one. They might be willing to haul a set to the show if they have a booth.
