I ran late for work that morning. Boss didn't care, so long as you put in your eight hours. Arrived to work to hear the news. We demonstrated our alliance that afternoon with thousands on the street.

The loan company had been slow playing closing the house we had built. At approx. 10AM PST, the title company blew the alarm, telling us we had to close "right now". I still live in the same house.

I worked for Taxation at the time, for centrally assessed properties, which included airlines that fly over my State. You wouldn't believe how many filed bankruptcy because of 9-11.
