Not trying to revive an old thread, but the months are as follows:

A = Jan
B = Feb
C = Mar
D = Apr
E = May
F = Jun
G = Jul
H = Aug
J = Sep
K = Oct
L = Nov
M = Dec

Source: I've got a "M066" date coded LQ4 block. It breaks down to be cast on Dec 6, 2006.
