Bumper crop
We have a couple dogwood trees at our place. This year we have a bumper crop of berries. These are the edible version of dogwood berries, but I’m not trying them lol. I read you gotta get down past the skin and seeds to get to the good stuff.
Just noticed how much the weather cleared up on the second pic

That's a lot of berries. I take it that you don't have many tree rats, aka squirrels in your area?

I believe that tree is called an Osaka dogwood, I have one in my backyard.
I havent tried eating one, any good ?

I haven’t tried one, don’t see myself ever trying one lol.
As far as wildlife eating them none seem to be eating them, not even birds.

Persimmons taste great, if you get them ripe. Otherwise you'll be puckering up into next week from the taste.

Dunno why but all kinds of birds seem to be loving these berries now. Maybe they weren’t quite ripe enough? I’m still not trying one.
