Got another question. How did you color match your blue? my plan is to fix patches like you did but not paint the entire cab this go around. Mine is a factory red truck and the colors range from very orange to still close to red. If I want to put color on my repairs, I would like to see if I can blend it like you did. But, if I got to the paint store and give them my paint code, I would image the red they sell me wouldn't match the faded red on my truck.

At my local paint shop they use a "gun" to determine the paint match. I guess it sort of takes a pic and breaks down the pigments. I never use paint codes any more. They just aren't as accurate as the "gun" method in my experience.
