Re: Leveling bed floor fr carpet?

I bought 1/4" foam. Cut strips about 1" wide to put in the low spots, then cut the foam to fit the entire floor. I put plastic down and used 3m interior and upholstery spray adhesive to glue it together.

Then I relieved any high spots with a knife and drew a large X onto each hole that goes through the floor so I can find them easier.

I paid $145 for 175 sq ft of acoustic foam, and this used about 40-50 sq ft, so it cost about $40 for the foam and about $20 for glue.

Floor feels great. Can't tell where the high metal spots are.

Took about 8 hours to make the bed floor mat.
