Your steering box is probably 13/16 splined, but I'm not 100% on this. I had to ream the shaft to get it to fit. I think the 79 up steering box is a 3/4" splined so if you could use one of those you could skip a bunch of reaming.

So the steering column spline is most likely 3/4. I measured around .74. The gearbox is .799 which is 13/16” as you mentioned? Would they both be 36 spline? Once I know, I’ll get the parts ordered. The rag joint was terrible - the bolt was stripped and I had to drill the whole thing out.
