Patrick, I believe I may have one of the older style P/S pumps like that on a covered block sitting outside. Not sure, will look tomorrow. Are you wanting one to rebuild or mockup or .....? Will look tomorrow and get back with you.

Re: WTB - Power Steering Pump Housing for SBC

I bought a complete pump with pulley and brackets, but it got mishandled by the USPS on its way to me, and the return pipe got smashed. I'm looking for just the housing so I can transfer the guts of mine into it.

Will look tomorrow and see what shape it is in and get back to you. Shouldn't be much effort to remove the pump and bracket.

Patrick, the return tube and threaded fittings are in good shape but if you look close to the crimping of the case I would be very reluctant to use it. There is a lot of rust and some crimped material gone. Just to the left of the lock nut pictured at the crimped rim. Sorry can't do better for you but it's the only P/S case I have.

Gary, thank you for taking the time to post the photos. I'm going to pass on it and order one from CPP like Frank suggested.

With the rust and missing crimped metal I don't think I would give it a try either. Think it's headed to the scrap iron pile. Will keep both brackets. the lock nut and the cap tho. Someone may need them for adding P/S.

The brackets are hard to find.

Will give them a trip thru the bead blaster, prime and paint and at some point offer them on the board.
