To do or not to do??

So I have a 3flu aluminum radiator with 2 electric fans, I installed a 700r4 transmission.
So is internal cooling style radiator safe to keep transmission cool or should I install a external transmission cooler instead.
I have a 1969 2wd blazer sbc for cruising around. At the moment it has the lines from the transmission to the radiator connected, but I haven't drove yet, still trying to get to that point
Thanks

Re: To do or not to do??

If you're not towing anything, you're fine. If towing within the limits of your vehicle, you should be fine. Do you have AC? That might get you to a point where you need more transmission cooling capability (if towing).

No A/C, actually no heat either, it's a fair weather vehicle, a roadster...... it replaced our Harley Davidson, we wanted 4 wheel and a open cockpit, lol
No towing either...
