windshield frame/upper a pillar/lower frame

Got some rust that I'm trying to come up with a plan on how to tackle it all. I know they sell the 5 piece kit for the upper windshield frame. I'm not 100% sure if that will cover all of the rust in the top corner though. Will I need to replace the top of the A pillars too? I don't see any patch panels for those without it being the entire A pillar for a lot of money. I have seen some posts of people welding in the tops from another blazer. Is that my best option? Anybody got the top windshield and A pillars for sale? I have watched the video by el fabricator to try to figure out how those go back together.

And then the rust on the bottom of the windshield frame. That's rusted through both layers. It's not a huge area. Basically just next to where the seam sealer was. What would be the best way to patch that? I've never made a panel from scratch yet.

I will post a couple sets of pics.

First set are top of drivers side.

These are passenger side. A pillar looks decent on this side.

Re: windshield frame/upper a pillar/lower frame

So after digging a little more I might be better off than I thought. Is it just the highlighted area that needs to be ok in order to use the 5 piece kit and fix those issues? If so, then I can get away with my current a pillar.

And the lower frame area isnt through the inner sheet, just the outer. Seems like it will be pretty easy to make a little patch to fix that. Has anybody butt welded that entire area to get rid of the area that requires the seam sealer? Or is there a good reason there's a gap there?
