 Those were the days!I remember not long after getting married and the starter Bendix drive on my wife's car croaked. I took it off and rebuilt it on the table. My wife was thinking that it was going to be like what her cousin's husband did, rebuilding an engine in the house. In their case, there was oil saturating the carpet. In my case, I used newspaper to collect the debris.

yeah. I once thought I'd like to take an old tank of a car and attach something like that to the front to teach some of the worst drivers some real driving lessons and driver courtesy.
