I did find out that my new slots, which are also quite old, have a 3/4" shaft as opposed to the 16.5 slots using a 7/8".
I used the lugs and washers from the 16.5s on the 15" slots and wasn't happy with how they tightened up. New lugs are on the way...

There is a member here that showed pics of the same setup on an orange 72 blazer. He was from wisconsin i think. That is the only other one i know of.

Going through a little surgery in paint prison. Glad we are doing it, but it is more involved than we thought... Looks like it already had NOS rockers put on it once.

Common to have missing rocker boxes and the rot in the B pillar. Fortunately, all of the metal has been repopped to properly repair these trucks.

1972 Cheyenne Super 20 2WD, DK Blue/White, 90K ACT. miles, 402, TH400, 4.10 open, tilt, tach, vacuum, A/C, AM/FM, manual throttle.. A mostly original paint never rusted Texas survivor...

2017 Sierra 1500 SLT 4WD, Black, 45k miles, 5.3, 6L80E, 3.42 LS, 20" polished wheels, everything but moonroof and 6.2...

2019 Canyon SLT 4WD, White, 62k miles, 3.6, 8L45, 3.23 LS, 18" wheels

Slow going at the body shop. Figured i would clean up the front frame rails with some por-15 while the front clip is off. Hopefully on the road by spring...
