H2 Wheels on a stock height GMC Suburban 2500?

Hi Guys,

I just got a set of Hummer H2 wheels really cheap and I'd like to put them on my stock height 1998 Sub. Are any of you guys running this combo? If so, could you send me pictures?

Also, what size tires are you running? I really don't want to have to trim or put on a lift kit. Any info you can share would be appreciated!

Cheers

Just do a quick search on google. Plenty of pics of this setup on GMT400.com.

You should be just fine with a 265/70R17 tire. If you've got the plastic splash guards, you might need a small trim on the inboard side of those.

Re: H2 Wheels on a stock height GMC Suburban 2500?

i had em on a couple of trucks. One now currently. They are on my phone, I will post up in a minute or two. First set had 285/70s and rubbed just a touch on the bumper filler, and current truck had 305/65 and doesn't rub at all. But too small a tire throws the proportions off and doesn't look right. A 265/70 would be close to stock size, but tire is stretched a lil bit, then looks like the "bro dozer" look, and it looks small...
