Re: I am from the Desert

I started the Doc & Kim build 69 I bought some years ago basically it was a complete truck no drive line. I sidelined that one to finish the stepper 🤭 she’s in storage unit gonna be a SWB FLEETSIDE

Nice!

Your exhaust tip exit looks interesting to me. I'd be curious to see it from the side. I don't think I've seen someone do it quite like that before.

Maybe you've mentioned it before, but how are you curing the powder coat?

I wasn't sure I liked them being that far out past the fenders but they have grown on me getting good reviews from my friends ( I should take another side shot a little further away) ....definitely one of a kind .....on the PCoat cure I have a electric wall oven 20 mins @ 400 degrees cooked to perfection here is a picture I could find, its actually a double wall unit I bought it on CL from a place that analyzes food products there is a lower oven tooand here is the prime rib after cooking

Re: I am from the Desert

very nice work! So what's the plan with this one? Keep it as a cruiser or sell it? I'm going to hop over to the other build and see what's up with that one.

Re: I am from the Desert

I noticed you plugged the holes for the heater in the intake and the water pump. Is that all there is to getting rid of the heater? I've read conflicting information on keeping flow to the bottom of the thermostat.

Re: I am from the Desert

RG
in previous years I would run a hose to circulate from intake to water pump I asked some techs I know before I did this my concern was it would cause over heating or limit circulation no issues with any of this has been my experience to date
