i need a little help
i am trying to install the one-piece glass in my truck and I have a ton of info on doing the job, but one thing I don't have is where to put the bottom holes for the front channel> blackdiesel said to move the holes forward but I don't know where the holes should have been because my holes where welded up! so can someone help me and take a measurement where the stock holes were to start with ...
Thanks Ray |

Re: i need a little help
probably the best thing to do is make a template of the glass with hardboard and use that when doing your mock ups. get the rear track where it needs to be, assemble the door with the fake glass in it and then figure out where the holes need to be after you get the fake glass trimmed to fit the new openng.

Re: i need a little help
make sure to tyry the window in the up and down for a few runs to ensure there is no binding. all these old doors are not created equal so it is on the owner to do their own practice runs.
post up some pics of your project and we can maybe point out any issues we see. |
