15x10 Rally Wheel - Fitment?
I want to put 15x10s on the rear of a 75 C10, no suspension mods.
What backspace should I be looking for, for the best look and fitment? (I'm planning to use a pair of NOS 15x8s in the front, 4.5 backspace). |

Several sizes. You can bolt the stock 8" on the rear & measure how far inboard you can go, 2". Or go inboard 1" & outward 1 inch. Is 15x10 the only option? Going in 1.5 inch & out 1.5 for a 15x11.

Re: 15x10 Rally Wheel - Fitment?
I'm running 15x10 Rallys on the back of my 83 with a 5" BS and 295/50 TA's, no rubbing, also 15x8 on the front with 4" BS.

Re: 15x10 Rally Wheel - Fitment?
Thanks. I think all the OEM 15x8 truck rally wheels were 4.5 backspace if I'm not mistaken. I'm just going to use a pair of those for the front, probably with 245/60 tires.
The 15x10 is obviously custom. I've seen used pairs with 4.5 backspace but I know that Wheel Vintiques used to sell them with 5 backspace too. I'm looking at a pair of used 15x10s this weekend and will check the backspacing on them. I think if they are either 4.5 or 5 backspace they should work, especially since this truck isn't lowered. Probably with 295/50 tires. That should result in the same sidewall height and bulge front and rear. |

Agree, I'm also running a 245/60 TA on the front.

Re: 15x10 Rally Wheel - Fitment?
I ordered my whole tire and rim pkg from Jegs, I like the look of the narrow trim rings.

245/60/15 on 15x8 and 295/50/15 on 15x10 will be to short on a truck that is not lowered a lot.

The 295/50/15 are 26.7" tall. I probably should be looking at a 28" tire, right? I don't think there are many (any?) good options for a 295/55 or 295/60 tire. Maybe I ought to be looking at 15x8 in the rear with 275/60 tires (28") and something narrower but as tall in the front. |

There may be a thread on here with 15" wheels and tires sizes to help give you a better visual. |

I'd like to go as wide as I reasonably can in the rear, which I think would be a 275 on an 8" wheel without looking too bulgy. I don't think there's clearance in the front for that with a factory 4.5 backspace on an 8" wheel but could be wrong. Guessing a 245 is in the ballpark. Will look at some other threads. |

255/60/15 front and 275/ 60 rear should be taller on 15x8 all around, just another choice. Btw, what is the stock height ground to fender lip on a Square? |

Re: 15x10 Rally Wheel - Fitment?
I'm doing a long bed (Gentleman Jim) like the one pictured below.
I'm thinking 255/70/15 (first truck) or 275/60/15 (second truck) Last edited by 72malibu; 11-01-2024 at 11:57 AM. |

[QUOTE=3drburb;9350741]Got it.
255/60/15 front and 275/ 60 rear should be taller on 15x8 all around, just another choice. This would be my choice if running 15x8's all around. |
