This is confusing. I've had a number of old GM cars, which consisted of many 65s, a 64, a 67, a 70 and a 72. They ALL used the same key on the ignition and doors and the secondary key only worked on the trunk and the glovebox if the glovebox had a lock. Dad had a number of 60s and 70s GM cars and they were all the same. This covers Chevy, Olds, Pontiac and Buick.
