Smile Public reaction to the old truck sometimes surpises me.

Ol Blue:

Whenever I drive the old truck and park it somewhere, most times one or two, or more people make a positive comment.
Mostly guys, but surprisingly, many women. I guess they like the patina look. LOL.
I always say thank you, and try to engage them in a conversation.
But I'm happily married, so that's as far as it goes.
So what I'm saying is, get an old Chevy pickup if you're older and want a girlfriend.
You never know....Hahaha.

Edit: I bought the "Chevrolet" decals for the grill. Couldn't leave just the "V" painted in.

EVERYONE loves a rusty old truck.

I always get a kick out of little kids pointing out my heap. Even at the age of 4 or 5, they’ve learned what’s “normal” and quickly point out to their parents, what is Not Normal to them. I hope that grows with the next generation.

Some days I get a lot of waves and thumbs up others no one even seems to notice it's an old truck. Strange. I drive it almost daily so I'd rather not have the attention but it's part of driving it I guess

Being an antisocial misfit with the personality of a water buffalo, I find the forced conversation/pleasantries to be mostly uncomfortable. In the theme of challenging my idiosyncrasies, I try to work through this sociological pattern the best I can without offending the individual. But damn, sometimes I just don't want the interaction!

Buy a Camry (not one of the pimped out ones), no one will even see you. They are like an invisibility cloak.
