Lock washers, or no?
I'm not seeing a clear view in the AIM unless I'm missing it.
Also, use blue threadlocker? Thanks! |

Those look like they could be "prevailing torque lock nuts. You can tell if they require a lot of torque to fasten. If so, they don't need any thread locker.
Check out the 5th nut down on this page: https://knappfast.com/fastener-knowl...s-of-locknuts/ Not sure about the type described in the article, but some have a threaded hole that is alightly triangular shaped instead of round.

Thanks! As near as I can tell, they are originals and are just plain nuts. And so far I have not found a specific instruction on those in the manuals so I don't have a torque value for installation. It's been 8 years since disassembly. THOUGHT I had taken enough pics at the time but we all know how THAT goes. ��
Got to say I'm not a fan of the AIM. Not user friendly. |

Just clean up the threads and torque to whatever the spec is for that size bolt. Sure wouldn't hurt to use some thread locker.
