Flexplate fun!

First flex plate(red) was currently in the 350 2 piece rear seal and when I checked the gap between the converter/flexplate I had uneven gaps at the 3 converter pads. 1/8, 1/16 even smaller. The gap was not even on the pad also. This tells me that the flexplate has a radius. (You can tell in the picture.)

Second flexplate has the crank register touching the granite on the block. I didnt check the converter clearance on the second one yet.

3rd (red) and 4th picture is a straight edge over the crank register.

Which one is good or both are pooched?

Thank you.

Nick
