making a slight modification

I have located a real nice 65 lwb that has been garaged most of its life with 50,000 originals. I'm thinking of cutting the frame and cutting the bed to make it a swb. Any comments or suggestions. Let the comments fly, I can handle it.

I'd leave it a longbed, too many shortbeds out there to cut one down. Some folks don't like the idea of a frame being cut, or welded at all. Personally, I scrapped a frame due to it being cut & spliced, you can't be sure who did it etc. years later. Cutting the bed down is also a lot of bodywork. Brian
